**What's the Role**

The position of **Snr Manager, Finance & Control based in Singapore, **is a financial business partner** **to the Vice President of Global Manufacturing. The key focus of the role is on the Financial Controlling of 4 manufacturing sites, which are in Singapore, Korea, Italy and Netherlands. The incumbent would liaise closely with the Manufacturing Heads in the respective sites.

To ensure that the financial objectives of the business are supported by detailed management reporting and analysis as well as to support the strong business growth and streamline financial and non-financial processes. He/She would **drive cost improvements** and efficiencies and ensure **timely, reliable, and accurate financial information **is furnished to the business and conducts **proper analysis to monitor business performance to financial targets** and measures consistency with strategic objectives.

This is an **individual contributor role** and reports into Global Operations Controller.

**Accountabilities include but are not limited to**:

- **Business Partner** to the Vice President of Global Manufacturing Operations, Site Manufacturing Heads and various other stakeholders within the Manufacturing organization
- **Financial Controlling for Manufacturing** including Production, Manufacturing Engineering, Industrial Engineering and Quality
- Monthly **forecasting** and **annual budgeting**:

- Manage **month end closing** activities
- Drive **cost and efficiency improvements**:

- Perform **variance analysis** for cost of organization, labour and production
- Labour hours and absorption **reporting and analysis**:

- **Product cost calculation** for one of the major product lines. Analyze actual product cost versus forecast and standard.
- Reporting and monitoring of capital expenditures for all of Global Operations
- Ensure **compliance **with internal controls
- Support **financial and non-financial projects**

**What Will Make You Successful?**
- Degree in Accounting or equivalent professional qualification. CPA Certification is desirable.
- Minimum 10 - 15 years of manufacturing operations, standard cost process and variances, costing and analysis experiences. Preferably from high-mix equipment manufacturing
- Familiar with product costing in a manufacturing environment / process
- Self-motivated and results oriented, hands on, proactive, able to prioritize to meet deadlines
- Meticulous and paying attention to details
- Strong analytical, problem solving, and organizational skills with strong business acumen
- Strong knowledge of Excel and Microsoft Office
- Good communication skills and ability to connect well with senior management
- SAP knowledge would be advantageous.
