**Job Summary**

The position will be located in Singapore within the Singapore Service Centre. The incumbent is to provide service support on Pumps & Valves that are used on various industries. To troubleshoot and service both Pumps and Valves either in-house or on site.

The incumbent is also to manage project management of parts sourced locally to ensure quality control and timely delivery to achieve OTD for pump servicing.

**Principle Duties & Responsibilities**
- Provide technical customer support for both Pumps and Valves to customers and agents.
- Onsite service support to customers/ agents for both Pumps and Valves in troubleshooting, failure analysis and general training to site operators.
- Installation and commissioning of equipment as and when required.
- Communicate with factories on engineering support and analysis.
- Interpret engineering drawings and to source for local parts manufacturing for pump service repairs.
- To review and validate vendor quality reports for local sourced/ fabricated parts.
- Monitor and ensure quality control of parts locally sourced for pump service repairs.
- Review and vat through draft service reports to ensure correct sequence in DCI/ As built reports.
- Submission of reports on a timely manner.

**Knowledge, Skills & Abilities**
- Able to analyse and resolve technical problems in a timely manner.
- Have good engineering knowledge and experience in manual & control valves and rotating equipment.
- Have good understanding of the engineering standards like ANSI, ISO, API standards.
- Experienced in basic instrumentation, electrical, hydraulic & pneumatic design.
- Proficient is MS Word, Excel, PowerPoint, and Adobe Acrobat.
- This position may travel up to 50% of time.
- This position may require regional travel within Singapore and various ASEAN countries.
- Demonstrate prioritization skills and multi-tasking ability to manage demanding tasks in tight time constraints.
- Strong oral and written communication skills.
- Demonstrates leadership skills and ability to succeed in a team environment.
- Customer contact experience, especially related to troubleshooting to resolve customer expectation.
- Carry out other duties as assigned by the Regional Manager/Commercial Lead

**Education & Experience**
- Bachelor Degree/ Diploma in Mechanical Engineering or similar field and with 3-5 years of related experience in field service / customer service activities.
- Strong analytical and troubleshooting skills, self-motivated and willing to learn.
- Able to read and interpret P&I drawings & engineering drawings.
