**Job Summary**:
Responsible for the commissioning, inspection, testing, and troubleshooting of instrumentation and control systems for marine and offshore projects. Ensures proper functioning and integration of field instruments with control systems.

**Key Responsibilities**:

- Review and interpret P&IDs, instrument loop diagrams, and technical specifications.
- Verify proper installation, tagging, and routing of instruments, impulse lines, and instrument cables.
- Perform continuity and insulation resistance tests on instrument cables.
- Conduct visual inspections to ensure compliance with installation standards.
- Assist in start-up pre-checks, line walks, and punch list generation and clearance on marine E&I systems (ICSS, FGS, I/O systems, telecom, lighting, MV/LV circuits).
- Conduct loop checks and functional testing of control loops from field devices to DCS/PLC/SCADA.
- Validate alarm and trip settings and support system configuration checks.
- Collaborate with control engineers during software testing and control loop tuning.
- Troubleshoot and resolve faults in instruments and control systems.
- Understand communications protocols and control topologies (including ICSS).
- Update and mark-up documentation to reflect as-built conditions.
- Accurately record test results, calibration data, and commissioning activities.
- Maintain organized commissioning records and handover documentation.
- Perform other duties as assigned by management.

**Requirements**:

- Certificate in Instrumentation, Electrical, or Control Engineering.
- Minimum 5 years of experience in commissioning or instrumentation in marine/offshore environments.
- Strong understanding of process control instrumentation, loop testing, and ICSS systems.
- Familiarity with international standards and marine classification requirements.
- Able to communicate effectively in English and Chinese to liaise with Chinese-speaking clients and counterparts.
- Willingness to work in offshore/yard environments and in shift rotation if required.
