Senior Financial Analyst

**Senior Financial Analyst (global logistics /Supply Chain solution company)**
- Company location: Jurong (this role is based at a key customer site)
- Salary up to S$8000 x 13 per annum
- Bachelor’s degree with 3 to 4 years of relevant experience in financial analyst, FP&A or accounting, preferably from a logistics /3PL service provider background

**The Company**

Our client is a global contract logistics company that manages outsourced supply chains and warehousing for global customers. Listed in the US & their customers operate in retail, e-commerce, technology, aerospace, telecom, F&B, healthcare, agriculture and infrastructure.

**The Position**

Reporting to the Finance Manager (regional account), this is a key financial analyst role to support the organization's Asia-pacific operations. General scope will involve billing, reporting, forecasting, budgeting, pricing & perform financial analyst for select key client’s operations.

Responsibilities include:

- Serve as liaison between operations & Finance
- Attend meetings to keep updated about any upcoming business changes
- Provide answer to operations’ questions and request for financial data
- Coordinate the new accounting units set up, project codes, work center etc as needed for billing & cost accounting
- Ensure timely and accurate invoice to customers
- Create invoice for customers
- Follow guidelines & proper procedure for invoice creation, review, approval and distribution
- Work closely with operations team and customer on AR collection
- Maintain record of contracts, amendments, work orders etc. & their impact on billing requirements (e.g annual inflation adjustments)
- Preparation & distribution of internal & customer facing reports
- Make adjustments in reports and queries in response to contract amendments, work orders, system changes and customer request etc.
- Responsible for financial planning and analysis including budgeting, forecasting, what-if analysis, variance analysis and monthly financial reporting
- This is an individual contributor role without supervisory duties but in special circumstances may lead the work of others (may also be called upon to mentor, train and guide newer hires/team members)

**Job Requirement**
- A **Bachelor’s degree** in business administration, accounting or finance
- **3 to 4 years of experience in FP&A, accounting or finance**, preferably in a large, multi-component company and experience in preparing and auditing complex financial reports and statistics
- **Advanced knowledge and experience of MS Excel is required**:

- Able to speak fluent **English and Mandarin **as this position is required to liaise with Mandarin speaking personnel from overseas
- Knowledge of enterprise financial systems (e.g Oracle, SQL)
- Excellent communication and time management skills
- **Display excellent analytical skills**:

- able to identify and resolves problems, details oriented, numerically inclined, strong aptitude for understanding and analysing large amount of data from multiple sources, perform complex analysis of data, processes, policies, procedures and/or systems, able to produce unambiguous, comprehensive and accurate interpretations
- Develops insightful, value-added and actionable analysis with detailed explanations regarding drivers of those results
- Self-motivated, team oriented, ability to work with mínimal supervision, strong desire of developing business acumen
- **Flexible to stationed at customer site in West, Singapore**:

- **Flexible to travel between regions/ corporate headquarters occasionally / monthly/quarterly/ as required**
