We are currently seeking a high calibre professional to join our team as a **Specialist, Lifestyle Claims.**

**Principal Responsibilities**
- Responsible for all General Insurance Claims as designated by the Claims Manager
- Advise policyholders, claimants and intermediaries on claims related matters
- Initiate investigation and settlement processes
- Liaise with loss adjuster, investigator & lawyer to ensure claim is processed promptly
- Perform analysis on claims and losses
- Authorization of reserves and payments within assigned authority limits (SGD TBA) for reserving and payments
- Initiate claim recovery (if any), update 'H' screen in AS400 and forward to Recovery Team to following up
- Provide support to Manager and Management on ad hoc assignment/ project as designated by the Claims Manager
- Where appropriate Provide guidance and training to Executive assistant and Admin Assistant

Requirements

**Requirements**:

- Diploma in any discipline, with relevant insurance certifications
- 3 years of relevant working experience in the General Insurance sector, preferably with experience in handling Travel, Personal Accident, Property, Public Liability and WICA Claims
- Strong verbal and written communication skills
- Good knowledge of local legislations
- Independent and a fast leaner, ability to grasp processes and system quickly
- Proven track record to work effectively and independently
- Customer oriented and a team player
