**Responsibilities**:

- Strong expertise in **structural strength, stability, vibration, and fatigue analysis**as applied to **floating offshore and marine structures**.
- Proficient in **modelling, analysis, and design**of offshore structures and mechanical components or subsystems using tools such as **MATHCAD**, **spreadsheets**, and simulation software like **ANSYS**and **NX**.
- Responsible for preparing **high-quality technical reports**in clear and accurate English to support engineering activities and project deliverables.
- Define and document **analysis methodologies**, **design bases**, and **calculation procedures**to ensure compliance with **classification societies**, **regulatory bodies**, **client requirements**, and **safety standards**.
- Ensure timely delivery of modelling, analysis, and reporting tasks, with a focus on **technical accuracy and clarity**.

**Work Style and Collaboration**:

- Reports directly to the **Engineering Director**and, in their absence, to the **Principal Mooring Engineer / Naval Architect**.
- Ability to **organize and prioritize multiple tasks and projects**effectively, maintaining a high standard of detail and efficiency.
- Collaborate closely with **project teams and workshop personnel**, providing **technical support**during the execution and fabrication phases of projects involving structural or steel work.
- Uphold strict **confidentiality**concerning proprietary information during and after employment as part of engineering development responsibilities.

**Qualifications and Profile**:

- Degree-qualified Mechanical Engineer (Bachelor’s or Master’s) in **Naval Architecture**or **Offshore Engineering**.
- Approximately **5-7 years of relevant experience**in the offshore/marine engineering industry.
- Strong **analytical and problem-solving skills**with a high level of accuracy in technical work.
- Excellent command of the **English language**, both written and verbal.
- A proactive and **collaborative team player**with a passion for engineering and technical excellence.
