Roles & Responsibilities

1. Perform weekly basis Fire Inspection per Month.

2. Ensure Fire Protection Sytems & Fire fighting Equipments are Functional and Promptly rectified.

3. Ensure Fire Safety Requirements are complied with the relevant Authorities at all times.

4. Supervise the Maintenance of all fire safety related works in the building

5. Prepare Emergency Response Plan (ERP) comprises of Fire Evacuation Plan (FEP), In-place Protection Plan (IPP), Arson Prevention Plan (APP), annual report and any other plans as & when required by the relevant authorities.

6.Conduct minimum 2 fire drills and table-top exercises for the building occupants annually or such occasion as may be directed by the relevant authorities

7. Prepare Fire Safety Guide Book for occupants on fire safety awareness & best practices

9. Train and prepared building occupants in terms of first-aid, use of fire-fighting equipment (eg. fire Extinguisher) thru campaigns, training, talks, contest and other engagement activities to establish a fire safe environment

10. Ensure members of the CERT Team are competent & readiness prepared for any fire / emergency outbreak & manage CERT audit to ensure compliance

11. Attend & execute the role of FSM for any on-site fire or emergencies (eg. supervise the operations of the Fire Command Centre, evacuation, etc)

12. Liaise with the relevant authorities on all fire & related matters / issues
