The Central Kitchen Assistant Manager will play a pivotal role in overseeing the day-to-day operations of our central kitchen, ensuring the production of high-quality food items, maintaining food safety and hygiene standards, and assisting the Manager in managing the kitchen team and resources.Responsibilities: Assist the Manager in planning and organizing daily production schedules to ensure timely delivery of food products to various outlets Monitor kitchen operations to ensure efficient and smooth workflow, adhering to company SOP and quality standards Enforce and maintain strict quality control of food production including preparing and storing food in a safe and hygienic manner Assist to supervise and motivate kitchen staff, providing guidance and training to ensure optimal performance and skill development Assist in staffing decisions including recruitment, onboarding, performance evaluations and disciplinary actions Foster a positive and collaborative work environment that encourages teamwork and open communication Assist in managing inventory levels of ingredients/supplies to minimize food wastage and ensure uninterrupted production Conduct regular quality checks on food items to uphold consistency and taste standards Assist in maintaining accurate records related to production, inventory and other relevant documentation including preparation of related reports Any other duties as assigned by the ManagerRequirements: Relevant working experience in F&B production or Central Kitchen operations Minimum 2 years of related experience with experience in leading and managing a team Must be comfortable working in a cold-room environment, 12°C - 15°C Knowledge of Good Manufacturing Practice (GMP) Experience/Strong knowledge of ISO 22000: 2018 Food Safety Management System Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, Outlook) Problem-solving abilities and a proactive approach to addressing challenges in a fast-paced environment Preferably with valid food hygiene cert
