**Job Description Summary**: Perform RSS audits of New Product Introduction (NPI) repairs to ensure compliance to quality / regulatory requirements to approved technical data.

GEAESS is our largest site for engine component Maintenance, Repair, and Overhaul (MRO), responsible for more than 60% of our global repair volume.

**Role Overview**:

- Perform audits on Repair Source Substantiation (RSS) packages to verify repair characteristic accountability
- Review RSS audit results to identify trends and coordinate continuous improvement plans to improve NPI quality and first-time yield.
- Develop quality system procedures for NPI process to ensure accuracy, compliance and consistency of NPIs delivered by Engineering team.
- Track and monitor post introduction NPIs for quality issues and drive Engineering / Shop for follow up improvements.
- Act as a focal point for all NPI-related queries and clarifications about Quality/regulatory requirements.
- Support conduct of shop internal audit plan as necessary.
- Drive and promote Quality culture and participate in EHS and other shop initiatives as necessary.

**Required Qualifications**
- Bachelor’s degree in Engineering from an accredited university or college (or equivalent)
- Minimum of 2 years relevant aerospace experience in repair/manufacturing or a quality assurance role
- Knowledge of general aviation legislation and quality systems (ISO9001/AS9100)
- Knowledge of repair/manufacturing fundamentals
- Holds a recognized Lead Auditor or Internal Auditor certification
- Knowledge of Six Sigma quality concepts and tools.
- Good command of written and spoken English
- Basic knowledge of PC software (Microsoft Office)

**Preferred Qualifications**
- Knowledge of manufacturing special processes (heat treat, welding, shot peening, coating, chemical processes, non-conventional machining)
- Knowledge of RCCA/HF techniques
- Good initiative and analytical skills
- Strong attention to detail and accuracy
- Ability to communicate at all levels of the organization
- Demonstrated oral and written communication skills
- Strong interpersonal and leadership skills
