We are seeking a motivated and detail-oriented Manufacturing Intern to join our team at Micron, a leading semiconductor company. This internship offers a unique opportunity to gain hands-on experience in a high-tech manufacturing environment. The intern will be responsible for developing a system to optimize material consumption and meet our efficiency targets.
- **Scope**:

- 1. System Development: Design and implement a system to monitor and control material consumption in the manufacturing process.
- 2. Data Analysis: Collect and analyze data to identify trends and areas for improvement.
- 3. Process Improvement: Collaborate with the manufacturing team to develop and implement process improvements.
- 4. Reporting: Prepare detailed reports on material usage and efficiency metrics.
- **Deliverable**:

- 1. Material Consumption System: A fully functional system to track and optimize material usage.
- 2. Efficiency Reports: Regular reports detailing material consumption, efficiency improvements, and cost savings.
- 3. Process Documentation: Comprehensive documentation of the system and any process changes implemented.

**Technical Skills**:

- Basic knowledge of semiconductor manufacturing processes.
- Proficiency in data analysis tools (e.g., Excel, SQL, Python).
- Basic understanding of Lean Manufacturing and Six Sigma principles.

- Strong analytical and problem-solving abilities.
- Excellent communication and teamwork skills.
- Attention to detail and a proactive approach to tasks.
- Ability to work independently and manage time effectively.
- **Educational Background**:

- Currently pursuing a degree in Engineering, Manufacturing, Industrial Engineering, or a related field.
- Previous internship or project experience in a manufacturing environment is a plus.
