We are looking for a friendly and fun permanent PART TIME sales assistant to manage a gift shop selling toys, fashion accessories, home decor and party items in Punggol area.
- Ensuring high levels of customer satisfaction by delivering excellent service.
- Ascertaining customer's needs and recommending and displaying items that meet these.
- Managing the point-of-sale processes.
- Ensuring maintenance of inventory accuracy and receiving shipments.
- Staying up to date on products, market and trends.
- Maintaining outstanding store condition and visual merchandising standards.
- Presenting products in-store and in windows in a way to attract customers and encourage sales.
- Providing regular reporting and feedback to management on VM performance and inventory flow.
- Resolving customer inquiries and requests and ensuring strong customer satisfaction.
- Escalating customer feedback as required.
- Well-versed in English (other languages is a plus)
- Friendly and fun attitude
- Able to do simple balloon arrangements (helium gas involved, training provided if no experience)
- Cashiering duties
- Able to work on your own (Open and close shop)
- Process online orders and prepare packages for mailing/shipping
- Any ad-hoc tasks that may be assigned as and when required
- Retail experience a plus

**Ideal Profile**
- You have at least 1 year experience within a Customer Service, Retail Sales or Visual Merchandiser role, ideally within the Retail industry.
- You possess excellent interpersonal as well as written and verbal communication skills.
- You are service-oriented with excellent interpersonal skills.
- You are a strong team player who can manage multiple stakeholders
- You are adaptable and thrive in changing environments
- You are highly goal driven and work well in fast paced environments

**Benefits**
- 1% commission on the daily sales
- 30% staff discounts on any products

**Working Hours**

Weekday 10am - 8pm, full day shift

Weekend 10am - 9pm, full day shift

1 hour break/lunch between 3-4pm

**Job Types**: Part-time, Permanent
Part-time hours: 35 per week

**Salary**: $8.00 - $9.00 per hour
