**Position Overview**:
**Key Responsibilities**:

- **Develop Individualized Education Plans (IEPs)**: Tailor educational programs that address the unique needs of each student, incorporating academic, social, and life skills development.
- **Engaging Lesson Delivery**: Lead dynamic, adventure-driven lessons that foster exploration, creativity, and discovery for children with diverse developmental needs.
- **Behavioural Support**: Implement positive behavioral strategies and interventions to support the emotional and social development of students, ensuring their progress in alignment with their individual goals.
- **Collaborate with Support Teams**: Work closely with teaching assistants, therapists, and other educational staff to ensure a holistic approach to each student’s development.
- **Parental Involvement**: Communicate regularly with parents or caregivers about their child’s progress, providing insights on how the development of new skills and behaviors can improve the family’s overall quality of life.
- **Track and Assess Progress**: Regularly evaluate each student’s academic and behavioral progress, adjusting teaching strategies as needed to meet individual goals.
- **Create a Safe and Supportive Environment**: Foster an inclusive classroom setting that promotes the well-being and engagement of all students, allowing them to explore their abilities in a safe space.
- **Engage in Continuous Learning**: Stay updated on the latest research, strategies, and best practices in special education and developmental needs to provide the highest quality education for students.

- Excellent communication skills, with a proven ability to collaborate with support staff and engage with parents.
- Patience, creativity, and passion for helping children grow in all areas of their lives.
