Job Summary:

- Develops team competency and resources (people and equipment) in service areas that are assigned. Develops the individuals on the team so that they can grow and become effective members of the overall team.
- Ensures that procedures and policies are being followed and met. This would include individual clients that have been assigned to that team who may have specific contractual requirements that govern operating procedures. Ensures that health and safety requirements are being followed and met by the team.
- Helps the team to strive towards stellar customer service this includes understanding the customers’ requirements, communication with the customer, and delivering to the client what was expected on time. Builds on existing customer relationships to maximize the potential with each client assigned and new customer relationships to help meet budgetary goals.
- Responsible to work toward meeting individual team and overall financial goals. Contributes to budget planning and is accountable for assigned cost center. Develops capital budget for group in conjunction with site manager and monitors capital purchases during the fiscal year.
- Accountable for revenue, margin, productivity and customer satisfaction provided by team.
- Accountable for EOH&S requirements and monitor’s team compliance.
- Works together closely with other TTL’s, Site Manager to strive toward making a successful business and to work toward accomplishing team goals and plans.
- Works closely with other operations ensure that projects are completed effectively.
- Works closely with Technical Advisor(s) to ensure technical quality.
- Quoting new projects for CSA Sales & Marketing and new inquiries and meeting the turnaround requirements established with those teams with the goal being 100% on time completion.
- Review and sign off of test protocols, test reports, and other documentation created by their team.
- Managing day to day operation within a product group consisting of engineers and technicians. Conducts performance reviews and recommends salary increases to the Site Manager. Responsible for assessing the training needs of the team and sourcing the required training. Responsible for staff discipline as required.
- Prepare development plans for assigned team members.
- Communicate with Site Manager project statuses in the form requested by the Site Manager.
- Meet goals and expectations as assigned by the Site Manager.
- Communicate goals and expectations to team and ensure good communication throughout based on periodic meetings and other communication means.
- Position has billable requirements, so testing is required as necessary.
- No lost time accidents among team and no major safety violations as determined by CSA safety committee.
- Plans and recommends to the Site Manager the workload distribution of their team, personnel requirements and proposed methods and/or procedures governing the operations of the group.
- Works with Site Manager to recommend new business ideas and then implement those ideas once approved.
- Assists the Site Manager in interviewing and selecting qualified personnel.
- Responsible for the approval of overtime, vacation requests and expense reports.
- Will be expected to perform other duties as assigned by Site Manager.2
