Business Analyst

**Role and responsibilities**:

- Support all aspects of membership: both engagement of existing members and recruitment of new members.
- Member engagement support:

- Responsible for supporting the relationship management and engagement of existing member companies of the Alliance
- Ensure all details and activities with designated member companies are accurately recorded in Salesforce
- Support the development and creation of membership engagement plans in partnership with the key relationship Managers
- Support the delivery of member engagement plans by ensuring follow-up actions are taken and delivered (eg, if a member wants details on a particular project, or if a member wants to join a working group)
- Track and monitor key engagement points with members, ensuring that members of the Senior leadership team and relationship managers are meeting and/or talking to members in a regular and timely manner
- Conduct analysis and generate insights on our member companies, for example overseeing surveys of our members, analysing member company investments in certain geographies, or their public positions on policy issues
- Analysis of existing members will also involve aggregating and distilling insights from conversations from member companies in order to produce guidance for the Alliance leadership on our project portfolio and overall strategy
- Recruitment support:

- Support the identification of leads and opportunities for recruitment purposes
- Help to arrange dates and meeting logistic with potential members
- Support the production of pitch materials (eg PPT decks)
- Help to run recruitment “campaigns”, for example around events
- Support logistics around recruitment events (eg a recruitment roundtable lunch)
- Keep Salesforce updated on recruitment activities
- Track membership enquiries that come through the website or other means
- Oversee the onboarding of new members, including, for example, storing membership forms, or registering member executives in AEPW groups like Expert Groups and Regional Task Groups
- Media, insights and materials:

- The role will contribute to the writing and production of tailored media materials and insights
- These materials will support member recruitment (marketing type materials), but also communication to our existing members (sharing insights, updates, reports, and framing opportunities for members to engage in)
- Other activities - Tech platforms:

- Our primary CRM system is Salesforce. We are constantly upgrading and improving the tools, processes and dashboards that are built into Salesforce to support our recruitment and retention. This role will be part of these efforts
- We also have a Members’ Portal, where companies can access materials, information and services relating to the Alliance. This role will contribute to the effective management of the Portal

**Profile and experience**:

- 6-8 years of experience in relevant roles like business support, business development, membership support, business analytics, relationship management, etc
- Experience of client interaction, client engagement, business development
- Diligent, detail-oriented, and with a commitment to service and quality
- Excellent Office skills, especially Excel and PPT
- Salesforce skills would be beneficial, but not required
- Good communication skills and a clear thinker
- Interested in sustainability
- Some experience in relevant sectors would be useful (waste management, recycling, chemicals, brands)
- Fluent English speaker, with other Asian languages considered beneficial
