DESIGNATION : Accountant (AP)

RESPONSIBILITIES

**Accountant**

Kaplan Singapore is looking for an Accountant to manage financial transactions, from payments and variable expenses to bank deposits and budgets. Detail-oriented, professional, and able to adapt to different situations.

**Roles & Responsibilities**:

- Ensure purchases, payments and controls adhered to Company’s policy.
- Preparation of expenses budgets and forecasts.
- Review payments to universities. Gain in depth understanding of various University payments and keep track of changes.
- Assist in preparing of monthly schedules for management review.
- Timely and accurate monthly closure of Accounts Payable modules, analyze expenses trend of the company with commentary, highlight areas of concern and recommend improvements.
- Assist in AP related automation projects. Attend to any system issues (finance related) including system implementation.

QUALIFICATIONS

**Job Requirements**:

- Degree in Accountancy / ACCA / CPA
- Minimum 3 to 5 years of relevant working experience in similar capacity
- Familiar with local financial reporting standards, corporate tax and GST and withholding tax statutory requirement
- Minimum 3 to 5 years of supervisory experience
