Preperation of IFRS 17 accounts
- Leading and guiding the credit control team in ensuring recoveries are followed-up for resolution, with the assistance of the underwriting/claims team concerned. Also advising initiation of appropriate action in overdue cases and for reconciling items.
- Ensure correctness and timely delivery of quarterly AR AP grouping working and RBC computation
- Ensure correctness and timely delivery of monthly accounts to Head Office
- Supporting and enabling the maintenance of an effective control environment within the department
- Prepare business plans and ensure that business plans are drawn up in line with the Group guidelines
- Perform analytics of results and preparation of reports
- Prepare statistics for actuarial valuation/stress testing, involve in process to finalise reserves proposed by actuary
- Managing ongoing customer/broker relations and expectations in relation to Finance, co-ordinating and ensuring the flow of relevant and timely information and communication between internal functions and external parties

**Requirements**:

- Knowledge/ understanding of Finance in general insurance
- Ability to identify, analyse and interpret data, statistics and information to inform for good decision-making
- Ability to manage projects.
