**The Role**:
We are currently looking for interns to participate in our Global Internship Program over the coming summer holiday period. Based in our Singapore office, you will be a part of our global community, working with like-minded peers who are excited by innovation and seek a stimulating work environment executing collaborative-based projects. This is an outstanding opportunity for students to get early exposure to the exciting and dynamic industry of corporate development and strategy and private transactions by working for a global leader in the financial services space. As part of the corporate development and strategy team you will assist in identifying, assessing and executing M&As, JVs, funding options and strategic partnerships that maximises our growth and value as a Company.

**The Work You'll Do**:
As an intern, you'll work collaboratively on abstract and creative projects that hold strategic and financial significance to Pepper's businesses. These projects will provide you with an opportunity to engage and better understand the type of work a typical corporate finance and investment analyst would undertake within Pepper's businesses. Potential projects include:

- **Market Report**:

- Create a market report for a country or region that we are considering for expansion or investment, including an analysis of the macroeconomic environment, competitive landscape, customer dynamics, and a concluding investment recommendation with discussion of an appropriate entrance strategy
- **Deep-Dive Research**:

- Orchestrate deep-dive research into global and domestic trends within the fin-tech and digital lending space and conduct research that targets a better understanding of the demand-profile of millennial and Gen Z with respect to disruptive or innovative financial products
- **Investment Analysis**
- Drive a fundamental research project into a prospective asset that we are considering for investment

**What We Are Looking For**:

- Undergraduates from any discipline are welcomed with preference for final or penultimate year students but not necessary
- Possess the capacity to thrive in a global team environment consisting of peers with different cultures, backgrounds, and beliefs
- Entrepreneurial and proactive mindset
- Ability to show creativity, and take responsibility for the outcome of own work
- Strong analytical and communication skills
- Basic knowledge of financial markets
- Working skills in Word, Excel, and PowerPoint
- Conversationally fluent in English
- Had participated in extra-curricular activities that demonstrate leadership, initiative or entrepreneurial spirit are seen in high regard.
