Customer Engineer, Ai Search, Google Cloud

**Minimum qualifications**:
- Bachelor's degree or equivalent practical experience.
- 10 years of experience with cloud architectures in customer-facing/support roles.
- Experience in pre-sales/consulting, delivering technical presentations, and leading discovery and planning sessions with customers.
- Experience with semantic search frameworks and tools/databases (e.g., LangChain, Faiss, Pinecone), and search concepts (e.g., indexing, scoring, relevancy, faceting, query rewriting).
**Preferred qualifications**:
- Experience with Google Cloud Platform and Vertex AI.
- Experience with full stack ML engineering to seamlessly combine retrieval-based knowledge and generative text generation to implement and optimize RAG models using first-party and OSS models.
- Familiarity with existing search products (e.g., ElasticSearch, Cognitive Search, Glean, etc.).
- Ability to create quick prototypes/demos, articulate them to a customer audience, and integrate with existing systems.
- Ability to communicate in Thai, Bahasa Indonesia, or Vietnamese fluently to engage and support customers in these regions in navigating industry standards.
- Excellent programming skills in Java, Python, or similar, with a focus on automation.

**Responsibilities**:
- Work with the team to identify and qualify business opportunities, understand key customer technical objections, and develop the strategy to resolve technical blockers.- Provide expertise on enterprise infrastructure/cloud modernization and Vertex Search to support the technical relationship with customers, including product and solution briefings, proof-of-concept work, and partner directly with product management to prioritize solutions impacting customer adoption to Google Cloud.- Travel to customer sites, conferences, and other related events as needed.
