**Responsibilities**:

- Responsible for performing / witnessing all aspects of inspection which are mainly related to piping, welding, mechanical, refractory, ducting, insulation, painting and equipment
- Ensure ITP’s stages are followed and complied
- Review IFC P&ID's, ISO's and structure drawings to ensure appropriate WPS are referenced with weld details and overall accuracy
- Verify that all site activities comply with the quality procedures, codes and standards
- Develop master mark-up P&ID's for pressure test
- Prepare / review and endorse inspection reports and test reports
- Review the welding procedure specification and inspection requirements prior to welding
- Prepare CPARs / NCRs / QCIR’s as and when necessary
- Conducting internal / external line walk-down during and after installation to capture quality issues
- Verify the accuracy of structural and equipment foundation
- Conduct / participate in project subcontractor audits, failure _I _root cause analysis sessions, project meetings.

**Requirements**:

- Diploma in Mechanical, Welding or Metallurgical Engineering
- Minimum 5 year’ relevant experience in carrying out QA/QC tasks related to piping, welding, mechanical, refractory, ducting, insulation, painting, and equipment for EPC projects (Petrochemical / Power / Waste / Oil & Gas plant) in multicultural environment
- Knowledgeable in interpreting welding procedures and engineering drawings such as PID, Plan-layout, etc.
- Well verse in interpreting standards used in plant construction such as ASME, ASTM, AWS, API, ACI, SSPC, SMACNA, BS and SEMI
- Proficient with MS Office (MS Excel and MS Power Point in particular)
- Have good knowledge in quality requirements of piping, welding, mechanical equipment, refractory, ducting, insulation, painting, HVAC and NDT
- Well versed in local regulation, international codes, standards, and engineering drawings
- Preferably with ISO experience and internal auditor certification / training
- Possess QA/QC job functional related professional Qualification / Certification either AWS CWI / CSWIP 3.1 or 3.2 / API 570 / ASNT level 2 / IIW / NACE / FROCIO level 2 / WSH-SCW
