**Are you looking to work directly for trading firms and help build and support trading systems?**

Our client is a **global ISV company** operating on the forefronts of technology using the latest **low latency trading technologies** to work with **clients ranging from financial institutions to hedge funds to proprietary trading groups**.

Our client is looking for an synergetic** Application Support Analyst **who has previous experience working in **derivatives exchanges,** **Linux operating systems, and supporting L1 - L3 issues**. The team is very dynamic and love to collaborate with each other, so they are looking for a capable individual who is happy to learn and help with tasks outside the work scope.

**Some of your responsibilities include**:

- Respond promptly to support requests and enquiries from clients.
- Actively monitor and respond to alerts for critical systems and infrastructure.
- Support customers and resolve issues related to order entry, risk management, and exchange connectivity.
- Work directly with new customers to coordinate the deployment and configuration of the company's products.
- Work directly with various exchanges and the software engineers to test and conform new software releases.
- Work with the infrastructure team to test and complete various server and network upgrade projects.

**Your abilities**:

- Have a Computer Science, Engineering, or related technical degree.
- Be able to perform complex log file analysis, allowing you to identify the root cause of issues.
- Be familiar with various exchange protocols such as** OmNet, ITCH/OUCH and FIX.**
