We are currently seeking a high calibre professional to join our team as a **Product Lead - Cards.**

**Principal Responsibilities**
- Responsible for the launch, expansion and overall product management of the consumer card product
- Own and develop card product roadmap and prioritize product-related challenges to be considered by product and engineering in future development
- Own product launch readiness to ensure that teams are ready with the information and processes required to support new card features and functionality
- Lead card proposition and card product design processes, understanding research techniques, design patterns and service design; Seek constant user feedback to iterate on product and experience
- Work closely with cross functional teams and vendors to implement a new card program across multiple markets, including working with the card scheme to support and launch cards initiatives in various markets
- Lead the design and delivery of the card servicing experience, ensuring a seamless user experience and enhance with delight and innovative features
- Act as the go-to card expert to develop customer card propositions and concepts, building and enhancing card capabilities
- Identify gaps, recommend solutions, and implement process improvements that help operations scale rapidly and remove barriers to execution. Including managing complexity and optimizing processes across functions
- Partner with other product managers and operations teams to triage and prioritize issues, enhancements, bugs
- Provide support in the commercial and financial mechanics of operating a card product
- Identify and understand customer card usage behaviour to optimize unit economics of card initiatives and increase card usage
- Track and monitor card transactional data, working closely with analytics to ensure card transaction data is accurately presented
- Identify cost and revenue drivers such as card scheme interchange and card scheme processing charges on both the issuing and acquiring fronts, working closely with the business and finance teams on managing card P&L
- Influence tech stack, data model, APIs, platform and system architecture in the card program design
- Challenging limitations - push tech-enabled possibilities of a cards program and making judgments and recommendations that will impact the business

Requirements

**Requirements**:

- 5+ years of solid experience in the card payments industry, specifically in card issuance is required
- Deep understanding of card program P&L including scheme interchange, scheme processing charges and associated calculations is required
- Experience launching or operating a consumer card program
- Scrappy get-it-done mind-set to take products and features from 0 to 1
- Strong customer empathy and experience shaping product direction and execution based on customer needs
- A hunger to tackle complicated and impactful product & business problems
- Experience in solution design including creation of value propositions
- Knowledge of market trends, new technologies and Fintech products
- Proven experience in creating and evolving digital experiences and translating that into practical solutions with commercial impact
- Strong strategic thinking, problem solving, and logical structuring abilities
- Comfort with ambiguity; the ability to independently lay out and test clear hypotheses, and solve problems without well-defined direction
- Experience in FinTech, financial services or/and a heavily regulated industry
- Ability to work with international teams across multiple time zones and continents
- Prior experience in building and commercializing digital wallets, payments, BaaS, API externalization and/or digital identity is a plus
