**About the role**

As a Security Engineer, you will focus on driving the delivery of cyber security controls, identifying risks and lead security automation. You will also be conducting research to evaluate new emerging technologies and maintain up-to-date understanding of the latest threats, vulnerabilities, mitigation, industry best practices, regulations. This is a unique opportunity to build and shape the overall security programme from an early stage.

**Skills and Experience**
- Hands-on experience using native security tools on AWS (Guardduty, Macie, Inspector, Config, Security Hub).
- Experience working with IPS/IDS, Web Application Firewall, Endpoint Detection and Response, Vulnerability Management, Identity Access Management.
- Experience creating SIEM use cases and analyzing logs for suspicious activities
- Experience in securing serverless and containerized environments.
- Solid understanding of Cybersecurity concepts, including threats, vulnerabilities, security operations, encryption, boundary defence, authentication and risk management.

**We’d like you to also have worked with the following principles and approaches**
- Familiar with PCI-DSS, ISO 27001 or SOC 2.
- Experience in Identifying security gaps and capturing them in well described documentations
- Excellent and professional communication skills (written and verbal) with an ability to articulate complex topics in a clear and concise manner
