**About GlobalFoundries**

**Introduction**

The position is within the Global Reliability Engineering team. As a Component level Reliability Engineer, you will be responsible for component level reliability for products offered by GlobalFoundries. You will work closely with the Post Fab services team, Quality, customers, and OSAT partners to oversee Product Qualification projects defined automotive standards (AEC) and consumer (JEDEC). In this role you will focus on reliability qualification work being conducted by GF OSAT partners.

**Your role**

In your role you are responsible for the following (this responsibility includes, but is not limited to):

- Oversee reliability conducted by GF OSAT partners, including new product qualifications, transfers, Burn-In and screening results, and ongoing reliability monitoring (ORM).
- Develop reliability models (Analysis of mission profile) and test methodologies in component reliability (HTOL, THB, PTC )
- Define component qualification requirement per AEC and VDA standard.
- Engage in proactive teamwork to support cross functional milestones through collaboration with Quality, program management, test engineering, product engineering, and corporate reliability
- Support reliability risk assessment for post-fab activities
- Address customer requests or issues involving reliability
- Participate to problem solving linked to reliability

**Required Qualifications**:

- Bachelor's or Master’s Degree in Electrical Engineering, Materials Science, Physics or Related Technical Discipline
- 5+ years’ industrial experience in microelectronics product reliability
- Strong organizational skills along with demonstrated ability to manage multiple tasks simultaneously and able to react to shifting priorities to meet business needs
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills
- Ability to effectively communicate complex issues (both written and verbal)
- Technical understanding of Reliability for semiconductor

**Preferred Qualifications**:

- Ph.D. in Electrical Engineering, Materials Science, Physics or Related Technical Discipline
- 7+ years’ industrial experience in automotive microelectronics product reliability
- Sound technical understanding of reliability physics and mechanisms on state-of-the-art technologies, including packaging and silicon
- Demonstrated ability to work well within a global matrixed team or environment
- Strong problem-solving skills
- Good understanding of automotive standard: JEDEC, AEC, VDA
