Support the Head with market conduct framework related work.- Reporting to the Head, lead market conduct framework related work as the accountable person for the following key tasks.- Coordinate with relevant parties to communicate new and/or changes in requirements to Group and regulatory requirements. Acquire early comments/ concerns and resolve/ highlight such comments, especially in relation to challenges in implementation within the allowed timeline- Performing gap assessment. This includes relevant identification of risk, controls and gaps as well as advisory of action plans- Keep the central compliance register of the section updated- Conduct compliance review and/ or compliance monitoring including relevant planning, execution, reporting and tracking of all remediation efforts to completion, ensuring that work performed remain in line with related regulations/ policies/ standards/ SOPs- Identify wider use of data analytics for first and second line. This includes:
- Analysis of potential areas of concern/ regulatory focus areas and factors impacting market conduct-
- Introduction of additional indicators for monitoring of market conduct-
- Use of analytics to target increase sample selection size to detect operational lapses-
- Manage communications and commitments to Monetary Authority of Singapore. This includes ensuring that:
- Action items and commitments to MAS (e.g. remediate issues, strengthen controls, etc) are tracked to satisfactory implementation-
- Provide input to reporting and/ or request for information when required and/ or requested- Address queries from and/ or provide advice, including review of related training materials- Perform product and marketing material review. This includes keeping the review SOP and checklists and responding within the agreed turnaround time to Monetary Authority of Singapore.- Ensure projects assigned are handled to be fit for intended purpose, delivered timely and meets relevant requirements. Ensure issues are resolved in a timely manner.- Proactively handle risk and compliance matters. This includes:
- Work with parties so that reported incidents, issues and other related processes can be completed within the respective stated turnaround times-
- Ensure regulatory requirements and Company’s policies, standards and procedures are followe-
- Understand the risks identified and policies / standards (including internal controls) established and implemented by the division to effectively handle the risks-
- Attend/Complete required training/courses within the stated timeline-
- Share knowledge and provide workplan updates at section and division meetings.
