**Job Overview**:
The Education Director
- Spearhead the business development of education programmes.
- Manages the day-to-day operations within the department associated with academic and student support services provided to international and exchange students
Responds to inquiries from stakeholders i.e. schools, parents and/or external agencies.
**Key Responsibilities:
1. Strategic Leadership
Provide visionary leadership for educational programs, ensuring alignment with global standards and fostering a student-centric approach.
2. Curriculum Development
Oversee the development and enhancement of curricula, ensuring relevance and inclusivity for a diverse international student body.
3. International Partnerships
Identify, establish, and nurture partnerships with global educational institutions to enhance academic exchange and collaborative opportunities.
4. Market Expansion
Develop and implement strategies for expanding educational offerings into new international markets, considering cultural nuances and student needs.
5. Cross-Cultural Adaptation
Lead efforts to adapt educational programs to meet diverse cultural needs, promoting an inclusive and enriching learning environment.
6. Student Affairs
Oversee student support services, including counselling, academic advising, and extracurricular activities, ensuring a positive student experience.
7. Business Development
Drive international business development initiatives, conducting market research, competitor analysis, and formulating market entry strategies.
8. Financial Management
Collaborate with finance teams to ensure the fiscal sustainability of international programs, monitoring budgets and resource allocation.
9. Quality Assurance
Implement measures for maintaining high academic standards, evaluating program quality, and fostering continuous improvement.
10. Stakeholder Engagement
Cultivate strong relationships with stakeholders, including government bodies, industry partners, and educational organizations globally.
11. Team Management
Lead and inspire a diverse team of educators, administrators, and student affairs professionals, fostering a collaborative and student-focused work environment.
**Education Director Requirements**:
- Bachelor’s degree in Education, Business, Leadership, or a related field
- Proven experience in educational leadership, international business development, and student affairs.
- Strong understanding of global education trends, accreditation processes, and student support services.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with proficiency in cross-cultural communication.
- Strategic thinking, problem-solving abilities, and a commitment to student success.
- Demonstrated ability to navigate complex international partnerships and negotiations.
- Financial acumen related to budgeting and financial management.3+ years of instructional or formal training experience and 3+ years working in academic leadership
