[What the role is]

The Singapore Global Network (SGN) is a division under the Economic Development Board (EDB) and focuses on building a strong ecosystem in support of overseas family, friends and fans of Singapore (3F). SGN leads the Whole-Of-Government effort to grow our collective networks whose skills, affinity and influence could strengthen our linkages to global business and talent communities and enhance the international mindshare of Singapore as a vibrant global city and welcoming home in Asia.

The Singapore Programmes and New Markets team is responsible for expanding and engaging SGN’s networks in Singapore; cultivating partners to expand SGN’s engagement capacity and capability and administration of SGN funding schemes.

[What you will be working on]

Responsibilities include but are not limited to:
- Build a vibrant 3F community, using digital and offline modes, to maximise engagement and meet business outcomes.- Develop and implement online/offline engagement initiatives, and forge tactical collaborations, with the 3F networks and ecosystem of partners. Examples include dialogues, forums, campaigns, networking events etc.-
- Drive event planning and on-site operations, logistics, procurement, execution, liaison with vendors.- Collaborate with Singapore Government agencies for greater impact in the engagement of our networks.

[What we are looking for]
- A university degree in any discipline and up to 3 years of work experience, particularly in (i) partnership/business development, (ii) grant management or (iii) event management. Applicants with a diploma in any discipline and relevant work experience in the above areas will also be considered.
- Must be comfortable working with/learning how to use digital tools such as Salesforce and event management platforms.
- Strong analytical and lateral thinking skills to translate insights and data into ideas and plans.
- Strong written and verbal communication skills.
- Strong stakeholder management skills, with a sociable and empathetic persona and able to engage varied profiles and sizes of audience.
- Strong organisational and project management skills, able to manage multiple projects concurrently.
- Ability to travel when required.
- Singaporean.
