Roles & Responsibilities

Job Responsibilities
- Design polymer synthesis scale up process.
- Ensure reliability and reproducibility in batch production process of polymers.
- Develop quality management process for scale up polymer synthesis.
- Conducting tests to ensure quality of polymers meets requirements of medical implant industry.
- Troubleshooting problems associated with manufacturing process.
- Manage production timeline to ensure timely delivery of polymers to implant production team.
- Perform any other relevant secretariat and related duties as required

Job Requirements
- Bachelor’s degree in Chemical Engineering or a related field, or higher qualification.
- Familiar with scale up polymer synthesis and process engineering
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills with prior experience in cross-disciplinary team management and engagement of multiple stakeholders
- Ability to thrive in complex situations involving multiple stakeholders across functional groups and levels.
- Strong interest to learn about new technologies.
- Excellent organizational skills including attention to details.
- Willingness to learn, with adaptability and flexibility to take on required/necessary tasks beyond the job description
- At least 2 years of working experience in the process engineering sector or chemicals/ materials engineering sector
