Lay Executive Staff for Children’s Ministry

Singapore LIVING HOPE METHODIST CHURCH Full time

**Key Responsibilities**:

- Assist the PIC and CM Co-ordinator in the operation of CM according to the church’s strategic directions.
- Provide support to the leadership’s efforts to inspire congregation members to be passionate in serving the children and develop them to be God-fearing young men and women.
- Coordination of recruitment/training efforts for new CM helpers.
- Assist the Pastor and CM Co-ordinator in the procurement of bible study curricula for our children.
- Provide support to the CM Co-ordinator in the planning and development of activities for bonding of CM volunteers.
- Provide support to the CM Co-ordinator in the rostering/liaising with CM helpers.
- Work with CM helpers on the follow-up with children/parents.
- Work with CM to improve its processes and in terms of keeping in sync, with LHMC’s strategic direction.
- Provide support to CM for the operations and administration for all its relevant events and programs, inclusive of room bookings, registration, publicity support etc.
- Provide support to the CM Co-ordinator in running the weekly CM’s programmes.
- Providing support to CM outreach events.
- Working with relevant age group ministries in the interest of inter-generational discipleship, thus aiding the development of our children, as they grow through the stages of life.
- Any other duties assigned by the Reporting Officer.

**Requirements**:

- A minimum qualification of A-levels or Diploma is required.
- At least 1 year of working experience is preferred.
- Proficient with Microsoft Office ie PowerPoint, Word, Excel, etc
- Ability to speak two languages is an advantage
- Design software skills for publicity materials (ie flyer/banner) is an advantage
- Able to work independently and a good team player
- Good written and communication skills
- Good interpersonal skills
- Prepared to work 5.5 days - this role might require work on Saturdays and/or Sundays and after office hours as and when required.
