Roles & Responsibilities
- Perform Inspections (Incoming, In-Process and Final Inspection) for dimension & welding requirements
- Familiar with all standard types of mechanical and electrical measuring equipment
- Able to interpret drawings and customer’s requirements
- Monitor all measuring equipment for calibration due dates; and to coordinate outsourced calibration
- Conduct in-house calibration for selected measuring equipment (Vernier calliper, OD Micrometre)
- Generate accurate inspection reports, Non-Conformance Reports & other customer required documentation
- To assist Quality Department in reviewing Mill Certs and other outsourced reports
- Maintain all controlled document files & test records for the required duration as dictated by standards / customer.
- Assist to liaise and handle customer for final inspection
- Assist to coordinate and relay QC requirements to vendors
