Recruit, evaluate and recommend to Operation & Technical manager for interview and approval vessel crews for the fleet and open and close Articles of Agreement ,
- Addendums (Transfer / Extension / Wage Adjustment) LG etc. for joiners.in a cost effective manner.
- Create and maintain personnel files for crew members and ensure crew member files contain comprehensive and current documentation of crew credentials in a timely manner
- Updating and maintaining crew personal data files upon receipt of updated crew documents in Share
- Liaising with crew to send their updated documents
- Develop and maintain an organized plan for efficient crew changes for crew members that ensures continuity of vessel operations and good harmony and relations with crew members
- Bookings of medical, training, flight and hotel accommodations for sign-on/off crew.
- Provide advice on crew wage and benefit matters when requested
- Monitoring and closing out of crew P&I costs and medical updates
- Supervise manning agencies to ensure Company requirements and policies are fulfilled
- Liaise with agents and vendors on immigration and work permit issues for crew members entering foreign countries to ensure all local laws and regulations are followed
- Assist with crew appraisals and competency reviews
- Monitor and ensure crew is paid accurately and timely
- Preparing of crew claim reimbursements for approval.
- Organize and supervise crew travel and local logistics to ensure efficient and safe travel of crew from home destinations to vessels
- Upon receipt of the timesheets, verify records with e-tickets issued + crew lists received by Master on actual sign-on date (check with Crewing Superintendent if there are any discrepancies.
- Obtain information and remain fully informed on local legal and regulatory requirements on matters that may affect crew members, including immigration rules and procedures, local social tax issues and insurance matters
- Assist with crew relations and communication when required
- Undertake audit on manning agencies when necessary
- Stock-check of the PPE inventory and arrange distribution to crew
- Undertake any other ad hoc duties / projects as per assigned by Management/Company.
**CANDIDATE PROFILE / REQUIRED COMPETENCY**
- Working knowledge of international Maritime rules and regulations
- Pleasant personality and communicate effectively with all nationals
- Good written, verbal communication and interpersonal skill
- Organized, patient and attentive to detail and accuracy
- Able to work in a fast pace environment
**EDUCATIONAL QUALIFICATIONS**
- Relevant Experience in Crewing function in offshore company for at least 5 years
