Reporting to the Country Manager, the Principal will manage ESC’s Environment Impact Assessment (EIA) and Environmental Planning & Assessment (EPA) business area in Singapore and provide technical support to the enterprise’s regional EIA and EPA team.

This role will involve mentoring the existing (Singapore) team of diversified consultants and recruiting/employing others to fulfil your vision for the business. You will play a key role in managing our existing Singapore client base, as well as securing new Singapore business, building on client opportunities, and growing the EIA & EPA team to deliver high-quality projects in Singapore.

The role will require you to combine strategic direction with a hands-on approach to project delivery, with the primary goal to deliver a profitable and growing EIA & EPA business.

**Responsibilities**:

- Day-to-day management of ESC’s Singapore EIA & EPA business, growth, and profitability.
- Support business development to win new EIA & EPA projects
- Representing ESC in EIA & EPA contracts.
- Initiating, designing, developing, executing, and implementing projects in collaboration with other ESC offices across Southeast Asia and beyond.
- Leading project teams to provide services/solutions to complex technical problems and overseeing client management.
- Manage and mentoring the professional development of ESC’s ESG Team, implementing formal quality assurance processes and assist staff appraisals.

**Job Requirements**
- Ideally, you will have significant relevant experience in EIA to Singapore government standards, ESIA to IFC Performance Standards and Equator Principals, environmental baseline studies, pollution control, numerical modelling, and other related technical disciplines. International experience is an advantage.
- The role will be based in ESC’s Singapore office Singapore.
