Singapore National Cancer Centre Singapore Full time

The NMRC funded inter-disciplinary lung cancer programme is seeking to employ a research coordinator to assist with study recruitment and follow-up, sample collection/processing, and data collection activities. The incumbent will also be involved in data entry and management, and administrative and logístical needs of the clinical research project, including but not limited to maintaining proper documentation, and proper conduct of study according to research protocol.-
**Responsibilities**:

- Clinical management of participants/patients:

- Active involvement in patient recruitment and obtaining informed consent
- Administration of questionnaires
- Collection of clinical data, keep records of documentations, data entry and management of database
- Collection and processing of biological specimens
- Ensure proper labelling and storage of samples
- Manage sample inventories
- Pack samples for transfer, arrangement of samples transfer
- Liaise with study clinicians from different subspecialties
- Any other duties required and assigned by supervisor

**Administrative support**:

- Provide study updates at team meetings
- Prepare presentation materials
- Minutes taking

**Job Requirements**
- Diploma or Degree in Nursing, Health Sciences or relevant fields with experience in research or healthcare setting
- Preferably Registered Nurse with Singapore Nursing Board
- Ability to perform phlebotomy preferred
- Computer literate, proficient in MS Office
- Able to work independently and willing to be a committed team player
- Meticulous with good organizational and time management skills
- Good interpersonal and communication skills
- Strong interest in clinical and translational research and motivated to learn
