Key Responsibilities:

- Develop and execute trading strategies for a commodities portfolio
- Collaborate with the analysis team to enhance and refine analytical processes, ensuring the accuracy and effectiveness of market insights
- Participate in portfolio construction and risk-taking decisions, contributing your expertise to optimize portfolio performance
- Identify short and long-term opportunities based on micro and macro fundamentals, utilizing your understanding of market dynamics
- Utilize new and existing insights to support idea generation and conduct thorough commodity analysis
- Challenge consensus views, monitor volatility, and adapt trading strategies accordingly

Qualifications:

- Demonstrated experience in commodities trading - either in Iron Ore / Oil products like Gasoline or distillate / Agricultural products like Palm Oil etc.
- Bachelor's degree or equivalent experience in statistics, mathematics, computer science, finance, or economics.
- Proficiency in financial modeling, specifically using Python and/or VBA, Matlab.
- Excellent analytical and quantitative skills with meticulous attention to detail.
- Strong written and verbal communication skills to effectively articulate trading strategies and insights.
- Ability to manage multiple tasks and thrive in a fast-paced team environment.
