**Responsibilities**:
The Services required are set out as follows:
a) A science laboratory technician is required to support inquiry-based learning for Science. The lab tech will support the smooth operations of 2 Science laboratories with a focus on enabling hands-on learning for Science learning. He/ She will be in charge of preparation of materials and apparatus for science practical lessons and assessments

b) In addition, he/ she will manage, operate, care and maintain the science laboratories and science learning environment e.g. school arden and science corners in the school. He/ She will maintain and organize laboratory resources and will assist with sourcing and procurement of equipment and materials and maintain an inventory list of consumables and keeping track of the inventory. He/ She will assist in other administrative tasks (with regards to Science laboratories) as needed.

c) The lab technician will take on responsibility for laboratory safety and may be required to serve as a certified first aider. He/she is required to assist in classes, workshops and other events as logistics support and assist in supervising the safe use of laboratory tools.

d) She/He may also be deployed to support the office when needed as follows:
- Assist to Manage Reception, handles the telephone calls Attend to students, parents, visitors, contractors, vendors
- Update sick bay record
- Photocopy documents
- Filing of documents
- Monitor and Assist to manage stores and order / replenish stationery etc
- Any other duties assigned by the School Leaders / Administrative Manager Any other additional duties assigned by school.
**Job Qualifications**:
The Personnel shall mínimally have the following qualifications, skills and experience:
(b) NITEC/Diploma Holder or Equivalent

(c) Possess at least 2 years of relevant working experience in a school environment

(d) Good communication and interpersonal skills

(e) Proficient in MS Office

(f) Good multi-tasking skills

(g) Data entry experience in local school or relevant experience in local school administration

(h) Speaks good English

**Job Types**: Full-time, Contract
Contract length: 12 months

**Salary**: $1,380.00 - $2,502.00 per month

**Education**:

- Local Polytechnic Diploma (preferred)
**Experience**:

- relevant working in a school environmen: 2 years (preferred)
