1. NTU Shared Services (NSS) Finance is responsible for the efficient and effective operation of the finance related transaction services. One of the divisions in Accounts Receivables function is Corporate Billing.
Corporate Billing is responsible for the full spectrum of invoicing and collection for Schools and departments. The responsibilities include monitoring AR collection, debts management, Credit control and Management reporting.
Corporate Billing also ensures timely Giro collection of rental, refund and journal posting.
2. This position is part of the Corporate Billing team reporting to Account Receivables Team. The job is required to process timely and accurate billing, collection of revenue, journal posting, prepare management reporting and provide bad debts. It ensures completeness in revenue recognition and compliance to University and standard accounting guideline. The incumbent will prepare SSG funding reporting and manage claim reconciliation.
This role will support functional process improvement and streamlining to meet university mission and vision.
4. Qualification:
Knowledge and Experience- Minimum Degree / Equivalent Qualification in Accounting- Minimum 3 years of relevant working experience
Key Competency Requirements- Able to work in a fast-paced environment and to work under pressure- Service oriented, be hands-on, meticulous, analytical and have initiative- Good interpersonal & communication skills- Proficient in MS Excel and IT savvy with using different systems, SAP knowledge is preferred.- Can work independently and as a team
