- Perform comprehensive eye exams to detect abnormalities and vision defects.
- Operate diagnostic equipment and explain eye exam results to patients in a clear and concise manner.
- Recommend and dispense optical aids such as spectacles and contact lenses, while managing inventory.
- Write referrals to ophthalmologists when necessary, and maintain accurate patient records.
- Train and supervise junior optometrists/opticians to ensure high-quality patient care.
- Maintain and ensure equipment is in good working condition.

**Requirements**:

- Diploma in Optometry from a recognized college.
- Eligibility for registration with the Optometrists and Opticians Board (OOB).
- At least 2 years of relevant work experience, preferably in a retail setting.
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills to effectively interact with patients and colleagues.
- Ability to work independently and collaboratively in a fast-paced environment.
- Flexible working hours, including weekends and evenings.
