**Job Description**:
The laboratory of Dr. Tang Hong-Wen within the Signature Research Programme in Cancer and Stem Cell Biology (CSCB) at Duke-NUS is recruiting a Research Assistant with strong enthusiasm and interest in RNA processing and modification. The Tang lab’s scientific focus is to understand how signaling networks rewire RNA metabolism and alter physiological functions during aging and tumorigenesis. Dr Tang’s laboratory uses unique cross-species and interdisciplinary approach incorporating Drosophila genetics, biochemistry, cell biology, and systems biology, to identify new evolutionary conserved mechanisms underlying human diseases and provide new therapeutic strategies targeting cancer and mitigating the effects of aging.
