Job Title: Cafe Helper / Part-timer

Salary range: S$8 to 12 per hour

We're seeking a versatile and enthusiastic Cafe Helper to join our team and contribute to our mission of creating memorable experiences for our guests.

**Responsibilities**:

- Assist with various tasks in both the front and kitchen areas, including serving as a runner, server, counter staff, or dishwasher, as needed.
- Provide exceptional customer service by warmly greeting customers, taking accurate orders, and answering questions about our menu, ingredients, and beverage options.
- Maintain a clean and organized work area, ensuring all equipment is properly cleaned, maintained, and in good working order.
- Operate the POS, handle sales transactions, and process card payments accurately and efficiently, if required.
- Collaborate with the cafe manager, barista, and kitchen staff to ensure seamless coordination and smooth daily operations.
- Help maintain a welcoming and comfortable atmosphere for customers, including bussing tables, restocking condiments, and maintaining general cafe cleanliness.
- Maintain a strong understanding of our menu offerings and be able to make recommendations to customers.
- Assist with inventory management, including receiving deliveries, organizing stock, and minimizing waste.
- Assist / Participate in coffee preparation, to be served to the clients (training will be provided if required).

**Requirements**:

- Excellent customer service skills, with a friendly and approachable demeanor.
- Ability to work well under pressure and manage multiple tasks simultaneously.
- Flexibility to work a variety of shifts, including weekends and holidays.
- Basic cash handling and POS system experience is a plus.
- A genuine passion for the cafe environment and a commitment to creating exceptional guest experiences. Strong communication and teamwork skills.

Part-time hours: 44 per week

**Salary**: $9.50 - $10.00 per hour
