Primary Function of Position

Intuitive is seeking a Director of Clinical Marketing leader for Asia region who will coach and develop a team of regional clinical marketers in order to build out the marketing capabilities that can support the clinical audience (surgeons, care teams) journey through awareness, conversion, adoption, and loyalty stages.

This individual and the team he/she manages will act as a trusted strategic bridge between Asia country clinical marketers and corporate clinical marketing teams for the marketing a variety of procedures including but not limited to urology, gynecology, colorectal, general, thoracic and head/neck specialties. This leader will develop his/her direct reports while contributing to the development of country-based clinical marketers.

Roles and Responsibilities
- Perform strategic analysis of region-wide clinical opportunity and readiness. Build necessary alignments annually with key internal stakeholders for regional clinical marketing roadmap and tactical plans.
- Act as a strategic and execution leader in coordinating clinical audience related marketing projects between corporate and country clinical audience marketing teams. Pull corporate clinical marketing resources into the region and support localization and implementation.
- Support countries in their local clinical audience segmentation, persona development and KOL development efforts.
- Oversee and guide localization efforts of specialty-specific clinical values messages in Asia
- Support country clinical marketers in creating the necessary collaterals, programs and customer engagement channels to engage surgeon and care team audiences.
- Create a region-wide pan Asian society engagement strategies and build tactical plans for execution. Build regional KOLs and programs.
- Build marketing capabilities to measure the impact of clinical marketing events, help countries adjust their tactics on an ongoing basis.
- Develop regional and country clinical marketing talent, build talent pool, support new marketer interviews and integration.
- Capture VOC of country clinical audiences within Asia and elevate this voice to corporate teams for regionally necessary campaigns, programs and services. Monitor competitor activities and support reactive/proactive message and program creation efforts locally.
- Demonstrate and teach individual and leadership expectations as an Asia regional leader for other clinical marketers.

**Requirements**:

- Minimum Bachelor’s degree in technical or business discipline. MS, MBA, or higher degrees preferred.
- Minimum 15+ years of well-rounded marketing experience in positions of increasing responsibility at country or regional positions, with a focus on procedure/specialty specific marketing.
- Minimum 5 years of experience in surgeon-facing marketing with a history of driving adoption of clinical therapies in a therapeutic medical device company. Surgical OR experience highly desired.
- Strong track record of collaboration in large scale and matrixed organization with functions located both at corporate and local Asia markets.
- Proven ability to effectively position and message clinical therapies and products internally and externally.
- Demonstrated ability for strategic and creative thinking in planning, execution and overcoming barriers for product launch readiness and customer adoption.
