As an Associate Manager for this high-profile, global client so you will be tasked with strategizing, planning, executing and reporting on your campaign set. The role handles an exciting portfolio that is almost fully digital. Where non-digital media is required, you will liaise with internal colleagues but are responsible for the holistic plan. You will work closely with the Director on the account, as well as a broader network of integrated planners and traders who service the client’s other divisions.
As an Associate Manager, you operate at the very heart of the business and are critical to its market perception across the digital landscape. The digital community in PHD is therefore tasked with creating a recognized market-leading position in digital implementation / executional management and client servicing.
**Reporting Structure**:
- You report directly to the Director and will have to work collaboratively with other cross functional and account leads.
- You are expected to manage your own workload as well as any specialist delivery services that are being deployed in your business
**The role encompasses**:
- Support the development of media and digital strategy with your Director
- The effective translation of this strategy into detailed plans
- Execution of digital campaigns across programmatic, search and social and management of third-party digital providers
- Campaign reporting and optimization
- Identification and management of creative / innovative media initiatives that are born out of the strategic digital media direction
- Client liaison and account management
**Key Responsibilities**:
1. Origination of the Media Plan
- Use of our internal planning tools to create media strategies
- Creation of clear and coherent plans that bring the digital media strategy to life
- In-depth assessment of all digital media options and detailed recommendation of proposed communication solutions
- Passion to test, plan and innovate new channel recommendations outside of standard performance channels (offline, content partnerships, activation ideas) to meet campaign objectives
- Involvement in creative development workshops as required
- Assess, identify, and recommend creative media initiatives that deliver greater strategy depth and impact to the media plan
- Undertake the implementation of agreed initiatives, including the briefing of third parties, as and when required
- Support the executives on campaign budget spends, updating the strategy, and troubleshoot accordingly
- Accountable for reaching KPI or planned goals for each media plan.
- Recommend changes in spend levels while being able to articulate potential impact.
- Identify & develop new opportunities, working closely with the internal teams and agency partners.
- Deliver on both agency and client KPIs and regularly exceed them.
