**Overview**:
Responsible for the development, planning, and executing of area level Medical Affairs strategies to support Solventum customer and business needs. Acts as the primary partner to area commercial organization on all medical affairs activities.

**Job Duties**:

- In partnership with area leadership. Coordinates all Medical Affairs activities to support medical affairs strategies. Sits on area level leadership team.
- Leads team of medical liaisons - responsible for the identification, development and management of relationships with clinical experts (key opinion leaders) within geographic and portfolio responsibilities to engage in speaking, and consulting that leads to better smarter and safer healthcare.
- Works with area VP and marketers to establish medical education strategies that ensure awareness and best practice of treatment options and a contemporary understanding of Solventum products’ place in modern therapy.
- Leads area level strategies to engage professional associations that jointly advance education, clinical guidelines, and research in AWC and or IP&SS focused treatment/therapy areas.
- Leads/managed area level advisory boards.
- Leads team that represents Solventum at medical conferences, seminars and educational events
- Ensures team is trained and monitors compliance in all interactions and activities

**Required qualifications**:

- Minimum of 8+ years of relevant scientific affairs and education experience in the medical device or pharmaceutical industry.
- Demonstrated leadership experience with teams in the development and execution of strategic and operational plans.
- Demonstrated knowledge of health care compliance guidelines and regulations
- Strong interpersonal skills with experience working effectively in a team/matrix environment.
- Strong analytical skills and attention to detail.
- Excellent communication skills (written and verbal).

**Preferred Qualifications**:

- Previous experience in wound care or infection prevention and control
