Procurement Manager

Our client is a leading electronic component maker that supplies speakers, microphones, and other parts to electronics companies. Over the years, they have gained substantial market shares with key consumer electronics makers across the globe.
**Your new role**
The Procurement Manager is an individual contributor role tasked with sourcing, evaluating existing and new potential suppliers for direct and indirect commodities. This will require regular collaboration with cross-functional departments to ensure consistent quality standards of suppliers to meet customers' needs and manufacturability. You will be the key person to stay abreast on market trends of suppliers and competitors.
**What you'll need to succeed**
In order to excel in the role, you would ideally have a Degree/Diploma in Engineering, Supply Chain, or related discipline with 5 years of sourcing experience (maximum 15 years' work experience).
- Strong negotiation skills, vendor management skills
- Independent, versatile and able to work in a fast-paced environment.
- Proficient in SAP
- Knowledge of sourcing electronics components is highly preferable.
