The Structural Design Engineer (Formwork) is responsible for designing and developing formwork solutions used in concrete construction. This role involves creating detailed formwork designs, ensuring they meet structural requirements, safety standards, and project specifications. The designer collaborates with engineers, architects, and construction teams to ensure that formwork systems are efficient, cost-effective, and align with the overall project goals.

**Key Responsibilities**:

- Develop and create detailed designs for structural formwork systems used in concrete construction.
- Utilize CAD software and other design tools to produce accurate and comprehensive formwork drawings and specifications.
- Ensure formwork designs meet structural integrity, load-bearing capacity, and safety requirements.
- Perform structural analysis and calculations to determine the appropriate formwork solutions for different construction scenarios.
- Assess and select materials and systems that meet the project’s requirements and are cost-effective.
- Evaluate design alternatives and provide recommendations to optimize formwork systems.
- Work closely with structural engineers, architects, and construction teams to integrate formwork designs with overall project plans.
- Participate in project meetings to discuss formwork design issues, updates, and requirements.
- Coordinate with suppliers and manufacturers to ensure that formwork components are available and meet design specifications.
- Ensure that all formwork designs comply with relevant building codes, standards, and regulations.
- Review and verify that formwork systems are constructed and installed according to the approved designs and safety guidelines.
- Conduct site inspections to monitor formwork installation and address any issues or deviations from the design.
- Prepare and maintain accurate documentation for formwork designs, including drawings, specifications, and technical reports.
- Document and track any design changes, variations, or issues, and provide updated information to project stakeholders.
- Provide detailed reports on formwork design performance and any challenges encountered during the design and construction phases.
- Identify and resolve design challenges or issues related to formwork systems during the design and construction phases.
- Develop and implement solutions to overcome obstacles and ensure the successful execution of formwork systems.
- Stay updated with industry trends, new materials, and advanced formwork technologies.Propose innovative formwork solutions and improvements to enhance efficiency, safety, and cost-effectiveness.

**Job Requirement**
- At least 4 Years of working experience in the related field.
- Required Skill(s): AutoCAD.
- Preferably Senior Executive specialized in Engineering - Civil/Construction/Structural or equivalent.
