Digital Solutions Advisor

**The role**

OneOcean specialize in maritime data and believe in a Total Voyage approach that unites data, processes, and workflows to create a flexible and easy-to-use platform for appraisal, planning, reporting, and monitoring. As a Solutions Engineer / Senior Solution Engineer, you will be a key member of our team, working closely with our clients to understand their unique challenges and design custom solutions that leverage our platform toaddress their specific needs.

You’ll collaborate with our sales, product, and marketing teams to develop and present technical solutions that solve business challenges. You will use your expertise to help our clients unlock the full potential of our platform, enabling them to streamline their operations achieve business goals.

We are looking for a dynamic individual with excellent communication and interpersonal skills, who can build and maintain strong relationships with both internal and external stakeholders. **Here’s what your day-to-day will look like in this role**:

- Collaborating with the sales team to provide detailed product information and knowledge to existing and potential customers
- Develop a deep level of product knowledge and skillfully answer product and industry-related questions during the sales cycle
- Create and deliver proposals and presentations that meet customer requirements and objectives
- Frequent travel to customer sites and industry events
- Stay up to date with industry trends and best practices including competitive diff erentiation and positioning
- Liaise with Marketing & Product Teams to help define development priorities and marketing collateral based on market requirements and growth opportunities.

**What you bring**
- Maritime experience with strong understanding of navigation and compliance
- Degree in related field
- Previous years of experience in a similar role, such as soft ware ERP soft ware development/sales, or technical consulting in product development
- Analytical and problem-solving skills
- Communication and presentation skills
- Interpersonal skills (Ability to build and maintain strong relationships with customers, partners,and internal teams) Understanding of sales cycle and solution selling processes.
