**Business Development Manager, Singapore**
**Responsibilities**
- Pursue a personal sales plan to achieve and exceed sales targets
- Generate new leads - identify and screen potential business opportunities
- Set up meetings and lead and facilitate pitch logistics
- Written call reports are required, within 24 hours, after each prospects’ meeting
- Successfully follow through closing activities
**Requirements**:
- 5+ years of experience and demonstrable track record as a corporate sales processional
- Confident and personable with a natural ability to develop good rapport with corporate executives
- Good team player who can communicate openly and coordinate well internally across our offices
- Outstanding organizational skills and able to work independently
- Strong affinity for global economic, political and management issues
- A strong interest in politics/economics and or management dynamics
- Ability to share with prospects about the insights on strategy and markets from prior forum meetings
**Compensation**
Fixed annual salary based on experience, plus 20% commission on each closed sale.
**Company Overview**
IMA Asia is a niche provider of peer group forums for senior MNC managers in Asia. Our goal is to help these managers build strong businesses in Asia. We do that by providing meetings that bring together leading-edge thinkers on strategy and markets with client-led debates in which insights and experiences are shared under Chatham House rules. Our forums are a source of ideas, a sounding board, and a valuable network for members. Our main forums are for Asia CEOs and China CEOs (and only the CEOs can attend). We also have forums for their direct reports who run regional BUs and regional functions. Meetings are held in Singapore, Hong Kong, and Shanghai. Our associate network of country CEO forums covers Korea, Taiwan, the Philippines, Indonesia, Thailand and India. This is the largest peer group forum network in Asia. We are a 20+ year old company built around a single proposition, running excellent peer group forums.
In Singapore, we run the Asia CEO Forum and the Asia Management Forum (for direct reports to the Asia head). Each meets at least 10 times a year for two hours (an hour for Zoom sessions). We also schedule 8-12 open agenda, catch-up sessions for both programs.
