**Who are we looking for?**:
This position exists to manage all quality activities local plant. The QA Manager plans, coordinates, and manages QA activities designed to ensure continuous production of products consistent with established company standards, personally or through subordinate.
The position also maintains and improves quality systems consistent with ISO 9001 requirements, determines whether manufacturing processes have sufficient capability to meet quality requirements through statistical techniques/SPC, and recommends, trains, and follows through on improvement efforts.
**What will you be doing?**:
- Manage the daily activities of the Quality Assurance Department.
- Formulate and maintain quality objectives complementary to corporate policies and goals.
- Establish “patrol” inspections on a periodic basis to verify compliance to manufacturing specifications.
- Implement inspection criteria and provide inspection activity for product throughout production cycle.
- Take full ownership in resolving customer complaints, ensure timely analysis, corrective action, customer response, record keeping, and mistake proofing** **until effective resolution and full closure.
- Manage and ensure that corrective & preventive action activities (Global 8D, Internal CA system, etc.) are institutionalized throughout the facility and follow-through on the effectiveness of the system.
- Participating in nonconforming material review and corrective actions (MRB activities).
- Manage activities relating to customer needs, including the maintenance and timely completion of monthly/quarterly customer reports (forward to customers by the due dates).
- Manage customer specific requirements, review quality agreements along with sales partners and obtain inputs from the Legal counsel, and provide consolidated feedback to sales partners on feasibility of implementation.
**Who are You?**:
- Bachelor's degree (BS) from a four-year college or university (Masters Degree in a Quality discipline is desired) with at least 5 years of experience.
- However, will accept a minimum of 10 years related experience and/or training, or equivalent combination of education and experience. Extensive training and/or experience in ISO9001, Six Sigma and Lean Principles are required.
- Knowledge and experience in implementation of IATF16949 requirements is an added advantage.
- Ability to work with mathematical concepts such as probability and statistical inference, and fundamentals of plane and solid geometry and trigonometry.
- Ability to read, analyze, and interpret general business periodicals, professional journals, technical procedures, or governmental regulations.
- Ability to write reports, business correspondence, and procedure manuals. bility to effectively present information and respond to questions from groups of managers, clients, customers, and the general public.
- Ability to define problems, collect data, establish facts, and draw valid conclusions. Ability to interpret an extensive variety of technical instructions in mathematical or diagram form and deal with several abstract and concrete variables.
