**What you will be doing**:

- Take responsibility of Hubble’s Data Warehouse and Data Lake.
- Work with various ETL/ELT pipelines from various data sources. Ensure that they’re clean, and load it to our Data Warehouse.
- Collaborate with product managers and backend engineers to ensure that any changes in the production database are accounted for in the ETL/ELT pipelines.
- Work with the Head of Data to help drive engineering excellence.
- Work with the DevOps engineer to ensure that the cost of data processing and storage is optimized for the needs of the company.

**What we need from you**:

- 1-4 years experience as a Data Engineer
- Excellent analytical skills in that you’re able to ask the right questions to help stakeholders surface what they actually need from the data that we have.
- Experience working with cloud infrastructure such as Azure, AWS, or GCP.
- Experience working with batch data. Bonus if you have experience with streaming data as well.
- Experience with R, Scala or Python.
