Do you want to make an impact on South-East Asia’s major Ride-hailing business? Do you want to contribute to Southeast Asia’s SuperApp Grab? The Grab Transport Engineering team needs your talent We build products that handle hundreds of millions of customers who need rides or deliveries. The team design and develops complete scope of transport features and its extended scope for other functional business at Grab. We adopt industry cutting edge technology and framework and practice agile development methodologies.

**Get to know the Role**:

- Leading a team size 25-35 engineers with front line manager reports, setting goals and roadmap, managing team member’s technical and professional growth
- Industry experiences in backend services engineering, Web development, system design, and software development release cycle
- Proven team leadership, interpersonal skills, verbal and written communication skills.
- Ability to create a team strategy and conduct technical design reviews and collaborate across disciplines and organizations.
- Ability to juggle multiple priorities in a dynamic and agile environment and manage remote teams.

**The must-haves**:

- Bachelor's degree in computer science or similar. 8+ years of engineering experience on mobile or backend technologies, and 3+ years of leadership experience with teams of 15+ people
- Able to build, grow, and retain engineering teams
- Strong communication skills and can act as an advisor, coach, mentor, and partner all at the same time.
- A cultural role model with a strong sense of humility and empathy coupled a bias for action and a passionate commitment to engineering excellence
- Enterprise software development experience is preferred but not required.
