Assistant Engineer

Pi, ourself is specialized in Construction for both Civil and Building Works as one of the BCA registered Contractors for Civil and Building Works. Pi is proud of our specialists in Structural Steel works with PVVC/MIC/DfMA delivered. Our in house design team, our direct material supply from the mill allow us be able to fabricate and manufacture all type of steel and aluminium works to support our projects in Singapore market. With such good quality, value engineering input strives us further. Pi is also famous for its structure repair, concrete repair, A&A, R&R works. Pi is one of the few specialised registered under Development Bureau Hong Kong SAR for such technical strength.

**Roles & Responsibilities**:
**Assist Management to**:
1) Be responsible for Project and Construction site coordination;
2) Lead & build a team of skilled workers on steel building works, A&A works, who appreciate “Construction with Precision” - our vision. A team who is proud of being specialist and able to face and take the challenge continuously develop such high standards stive comply with internal safety, quality and programme & commercial requirements.

3) Responsible for resources planning (ie manpower, equipment and materials) from project kick-off to completion including DLP.

4) Able to draft and making submission of Scope of Works, Programme, Method Statement, Risk Assessment, Material Submission independently.

5) Liaise with relevant authorized parties and project related personnel for building up good working relationships with both external clients and internal departments.

6) Ensure that the project is completed on time with good quality and within the programme and budget.

7) Take actions to resolve any delay/ technical issues/ difficulties that may arise during the execution of projects, able to draft letters independently to record such construction changes.

8) Supervise construction site team and sub-contractors as necessary at construction sites.

**Requirements**:

Passion to grow with the team with young Engineers and QS.

2) Reliable and trust worthy who pay great attention to both personal and team reputation with solid on site/project/tender delivery together with the team.

3) Good communication and interpersonal skills support with very much hands on skills, e.g. computer skills, good at using Microsoft Project or alike Programme software, good at using Word producing Method Statements, good at motivation team members and manage their expectations and guide them grow together with our continuously in house training build up a team whose pride strives us together further.

4) Good hands on sketch skills will be preferred.

5) Bachelor’s degree in civil engineering (preferred), Buidlings or any Construction degrees or equivalent.

6) Minimum 2 year post graduate experience in local construction industry with minimum 1 project experience from commencement date till completion date without any accident record. Any creative achievement shall be a bonus.

7) Fully understand local submission procedures and quality of reports. Fully understand drawings an able to read between drawings, method statements, Risk assessment. Able to read and understand commercial with monthly budget/cost/income shall be a bonus.

8) Highly self-motivated, independent and resourceful, smart working, able to manage work & life balance with good stress and time management skills, mature, professional maintain working life civilized.

9) Professional business written and spoken skills to English is essential, able to speak mandarin and/or Cantonese will be great bonus.

10) Proficiency in PC skills including MS Word, Excel, Outlook, PowerPoint Auto Cad. Able to use BIM360,Revit, Tekla will be bonus.
