Job Description:
The person hired for the position of Global Supply Network Planner will develop, communicate, and guide the execution of the end-to-end strategy to a global team for a family of film products in the TEBG Business Group of 3M. As the central person with visibility of the entire global supply chain, tasks will include working with customers, internal and external suppliers, internal partner divisions, and Enterprise Operations teams to drive best-in-class customer service, inventory performance, logistics execution and manufacturing performance. This is a high visibility role that directly impacts Division and Business Group objectives for best in class customer service and free cash flow conversion.

As a Global Supply Network Planner, you will have the opportunity to tap into your curiosity and collaborate with some of the most innovative and diverse people around the world. Here, you will make an impact by:
- Leads development of supply chain execution strategy (MTO/MTS/Loop & Supermarket, etc.) for assigned family of products.- Identifies, communicates, and drives improvements in size and placement of inventory in the Global Extended Value Stream to drive best in class service at optimum inventory levels- Supports new product commercialization process from supply chain set-up to execution strategy.- Leads and participates in LSS Greenbelt and Blackbelt projects to improve customer service and improve inventory performance- Identify and participate in Supply Chain Architecture projects to improve the customer experience and optimize cost and cash performance

Your Skills and Expertise
To set you up for success in this role from day one, 3M requires (at a minimum) the following qualifications:
- Bachelor’s degree or higher (completed and verified prior to start) from an accredited institution- Five (5) combined years of experience in plant and division Supply Chain/Planning analyst roles- Four (4) years of experience with Microsoft Office Suite, including Word, Excel and PowerPoint

Additional qualifications that could help you succeed even further in this role include:
- Bachelor’s degree in Supply Chain Management or Operations Management- APICS Certification- Strong Supply Chain technical knowledge and analytical skills - including experience in production planning and plant operations- Strong written and verbal communication skills- Certified LSS Blackbelt or Greenbelt- Experience with SAP/ERP and Legacy Corporate Supply Chain Systems- Skills include working with cross functional teams - lab, mfg. supply chain, marketing to meet commercialization gate review timelines- Experience working on international teams with emphasis in APAC region
